I have owned and loved many dogs in my life, and am interested in all breeds. I have seriously trained three dogs - my wonderful Bernese “Mt. View Jessie May, CD” (this was before agility and Rally) and my current two partners, Keeshond “Ruttkay Freya CD, RM, AX, AXJ” and Sheltie, “Penmore Silver Shadow CDX, RM, OA, AXJ” (Royce).
Beside playing with my dogs, I have been a professional in the horse industry most of my adult life, teaching and managing horse farms in the area. Since 1983, I have taught in the Cazenovia College Equine Business Management Program. I took a hiatus from dog training from 2000 to 2010 to manage my own horse facility, Fieldstone Farm, in New Woodstock. But I sold the farm so I would have time to work dogs again!
I’ve found a wonderful home and kindred spirits at Dottie’s Dog School.
